HE Junming, representative inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage projects, is a master of arts and crafts in Shanxi Province. In 1979, when he was only 15 years old, he joined the state-owned Xinjiang Arts and Crafts Factory in Shanxi Province. Starting from the most basic ordinary worker, he gradually grew love for the craftsmanship. It took him more than ten years to master the high-difficulty special lacquer art, which is the full set of "Tixi" production. After the reform and opening up, the old state-owned factory was on the verge of bankruptcy. In 1992, he founded the Yellow River Yundiao Craft Factory with self-raised funds, and since then he has specialized in the research and development and inheritance of Jiangzhou Tixi art.

Through more than 20 years of hard work and development, the “Jiangzhou Tixi” lacquer craft formally became a national intangible cultural heritage protection technique in 2011. And HE Junming himself became the only national representative inheritor of this craft. Over the years, he has focused on the promotion and dissemination of lacquer culture, and he has established cooperation mechanisms with Shanxi University, Shanxi University of Science and Technology, Shenyang Luxun University, Central Academy of Art and Design and other well-known institutions to provide college students with a platforms for internship. More young people have devoted themselves to the protection and promotion of lacquer culture and traditional crafts. The lacquer lacquer technique can be passed down to future generations, and it has made an indelible contribution to the inheritance and development of the traditional Chinese lacquer technique.
