Wanrong mutton soup, also called hot pot, is the common name for mutton soup in Wanrong County. At the country fair, the farmers usually gather in front of the hot pot stall and eat a bowl of hot pot, either with Huoshao( a kind of pancake) or soaking the deep-fried twists of dough in, even taking their own steamed black buns. They all enjoy the meal which is in fact a treat for themself to nourish their stomach. The aftertaste will haunt for many days.
